With an expanded version if you have more time

Most people don’t lack talent or drive—they lack clarity.
What if I told you that in just 15 minutes, you could design a vision that gives your life meaning and purpose?
Growing up, I felt like I lacked both talent and drive.
I drifted through school, into a job I didn't want, and found myself lost and confused.
I didn't know where I was going.
I just kept going.
I felt as if I was letting life's currents carry me, like driftwood in the dark blue ocean, waiting to find land.
But the older I got, the more I drifted away from what truly mattered.
Because the truth is, you already know what your vision is.
It’s inside you, waiting to be uncovered.
Here are three simple steps to uncover your vision today in 15 minutes.
Define your essentials
A vision is not a detailed map, but a compass.
While a map shows you every step to your destination, a compass ensures you're heading in the right direction.
To build your compass, answer these three questions:
What do you want to feel daily?
For me: Joy, fulfillment, excitement, and peace.
What's most important to you? (your core values)
For me: Love, kindness, creativity.
What are your 3 priorities?
For me: Spiritual life, my business, health.
When your essentials are clear, decision-making becomes easier.
If something isn't essential, it is trivial.
Create a vision statement
The vision statement captures your ideal life in a sentence or two.
It's a simple yet powerful reminder to see what you're working toward.
Ask yourself these 3 questions:
What do you want to do?
How do you want to feel?
What impact do you want to have?
For me:
I want to live an intentional creative life filled with joy and peace. I wake up excited to pursue my calling, contribute to the world through my business, and share love and kindness.
Write your vision down and place it where you can see it daily.
Commit to one small act
A vision means nothing without action.
But action doesn't have to be overwhelming—it starts with one small step.
Ask yourself:
"What's one small thing I can do today to move toward this vision?"
For me: Create a calendar link for business calls.
Now write it down and plan to do it.
Every small action compounds over time.
Expanded version for later
80% of vision planning can be done in 15 minutes, but here's how to expand it further.
Life Categories in Depth:
Break your vision into categories: career, health, relationships, finances, etc.
For me:
Career: Have a growing business with a close community of people. Have a few trusted partners creating deep fulfilling work. Have autonomy over business and be able to scale it.
Health: Feel energized most of the time. Mentally in a good place. Excellent mental and physical endurance.
Relationships: Have few deep relationships. Regularly talk with loved ones.
Finances: Be in a place where I can afford what I need. Have an emergency fund. Own a house that is paid off.
Spiritual: Have more trust in God. Deep connection with my purpose.
Reverse Engineering Goals:
Create short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals for each part of your vision (3-month; 1-2 years; 5-10 years)
For me:
3-month: Create coaching offer; upload 12 videos; deeper connection with purpose.
1-2 years: Full income online; talk to loved ones daily; expression through creativity.
5-10 years: Creative mastery; starting a family; financial freedom.
Daily Alignment:
Develop daily habits that reflect your vision (e.g., journaling, planning, or affirmations).
For me:
Reflection/journaling.
Planning & action.
Read The Bible.
Meditate & pray.
Exercise & eat healthy.
Anchor Your Vision:
Develop a mantra or theme to keep your vision top of mind.
For me:
A.C.T.
Align - With my values to stay grounded.
Create - A life I'm being called to.
Thrive - To live with intent.
Final Thought
Your vision isn’t static—it’s a living guide.
Start small, refine it over time, and let it grow with you.
When you know your direction, every decision becomes clearer, and life becomes more meaningful.
Will you spend 15 minutes writing (or refining) your vision today?
I help undisciplined people wanting a change in their unfulfilling lives find purpose and progress towards their personal goals.
